BARMM Service Convergence Set for July 20 as Cotabato Health Centers Await Study
National and Bangsamoro agencies are scheduled to bring public services to one site at the Bangsamoro Government Center in Cotabato City on July 20. A separate proposal for five Super Health Centers in the city remains under committee review and has not yet become a construction program.
What residents can access on July 20
The National Government and Bangsamoro Government Convergence Program is scheduled at the Bangsamoro Government Center in Cotabato City. Organizers describe it as a one-stop event where regional ministries and national agencies will deliver services and turn over assistance to selected beneficiaries.
The announced recipients include local governments, former combatants, farmers and fisherfolk, Indigenous peoples, and other priority groups. The program notice does not say that every form of assistance is available to every walk-in visitor, so residents should confirm eligibility at the relevant booth.
Services listed by organizers
The published lineup includes help for overseas Bangsamoro workers, a job fair, business name registration, legal consultations, and halal promotion. Bangsamoro offices also plan to handle educational, medical, and livelihood assistance and award land titles to qualified landowners.
Ceremonial turnovers will cover housing units, infrastructure, facilities, equipment, and other assistance. The useful test after the event will be how many people received a completed service, not only how many agencies set up booths.
The Super Health Center proposal is separate
Proposed Resolution 798 asks the Bangsamoro Ministry of Health to assess whether Super Health Centers are feasible in five mother barangays of Cotabato City and in other underserved communities across BARMM. It was filed on March 6 and referred to the Parliament's Committee on Health on May 20.
The resolution requests a study. It does not approve the facilities, identify final sites, release construction money, or set an opening date. Any report on the plan should preserve that distinction until the Parliament or health ministry announces a funded project.
