UP Mindanao Graduate Tops June 2026 Architecture Board Exam

A UP Mindanao graduate led the June 2026 Licensure Examination for Architects, while Mindanao schools took most of the top ten places. The Professional Regulation Commission released the results on June 26 after the Davao City exam was moved because of post earthquake safety inspections.

Eloisa Marie Tan Plana of UP Mindanao ranked first in the June 2026 Architect Licensure Examination with a score of 90.60 percent. PRC reported 2,799 passers out of 3,290 examinees.

The Top Scorers

Eloisa Marie Tan Plana of the University of the Philippines Mindanao ranked first with a score of 90.60 percent.

Mindanao's showing extended beyond the top spot. Notre Dame of Dadiangas University, University of Mindanao Davao City, Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao, and UP Mindanao all had graduates in the national top ten.

UP Mindanao placed three graduates in the top ten. That result gave the university one of the strongest school showings in the published rankings.

School Performance

Of 3,290 examinees, 2,799 passed, giving the June 2026 exam an 85.08 percent passing rate, according to PRC results cited in reports.

UP Mindanao and Mapua Malayan Colleges Mindanao both posted perfect passing rates among their examinees, according to school performance figures cited in reports. Other detailed school rates are better checked against the PRC list before reuse.

The Board of Architecture that administered the exam was chaired by Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente, with members Arch. Lynnda Marie B. Laraya and Arch. Miguel C. Guerrero III.

Why Davao Results Came Late

The standard exam dates were June 8 and 10, with testing centers across thirteen cities. The Davao City exam was rescheduled to June 22 and 24 after building safety inspections following the June 8 earthquake.

Because results from all centers must be consolidated before the PRC publishes the full list, the Davao rescheduling pushed the national release to June 26, two working days after the Davao exam concluded. Mindanao Live's June 2026 earthquake report has the broader safety and recovery context.
